Made in October 2007 I believe...

It was another entry for my Art Portfolio. I couldn't take a pic of it because the lighting makes the picture looks bad...until now.
This is probably my Best self-portrait to date. LOL, that's sad.
This was the third painting that i submitted to the school's art show in 2008. The other two were: Genesis and Oddball

...the picture/story: girl sleeping, with a bunch of homework under her. There is a book (the one i was reading at the time) called You Don't Know Me by David Klass. I like the title, it fits me very well. Can't say much about the book though...just the fact that I dont like the phrase "you dont know..." much after reading it. On top of the book is a green mug...filled with...coffee? poison? On the girl's head is a paper crown that says "I'm Awake". Originally it was intended to show that I fell asleep doing my homework. The crown was supposed to be sort of humorous, I'm awake, but not really.
Then later on, if you're negative. You can think that the girl is actually dead. From drinking whatever is in that mug. And that she'll never wake up...

Hehehehehe.
